The Core Running camp will show you how to develop good running technique and form which will help you avoid injuries and improve your performance.
How Will You Benefit?
- You'll work on developing better movement and running skills.
- Virtually every runner of the hundreds I've worked with over the last 10 years had tight, weak ankles and hips. I'll show you how to develop better mobility in your ankles and your hips to develop a better stride.
- Then we'll work on technique drills to improve your running Technical Skills. You'll learn what good running form is and how you can adapt it to suit your specific body.
- Learn how to fuel your body to run well. You'll know what to eat before, during and after your runs.
- Develop effective recovery strategies to bounce back from all your training. You'll know what works and how to apply to your own schedule.
- Learn how to fuel your body to run well. You'll know what to eat before, during and after your runs.
- Build running specific core stability and strength. You'll walk away with two DVD's and three workouts that will give you the strength, power and core stability you need to be a strong, efficient runner.
What's Included?
- 10 hours of instruction and seminars to teach you all the Core Running techniques and strategies.
- Six printed manuals including the Run Better Manual, Functional Flexibility for Running, the Runner's Strength Training Manual, Injury Prevention Strategies, Optimal Sports Nutrition for Runners and the Runner's Training Log & access to online videos of all the drills.
- Plus you'll receive a set of the Sport Shape Up Workout DVD's which includes two Thera-band exercise bands.

Camp Details
Two Saturdays - April 2 & 9, 2011
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Devine Fitness Studio, Suite 270 - 2025 West 42nd Ave. (map)
Camp will be held indoors and outdoors regardless of weather so bring appropriate clothing.
Cost is $220.
Space is limited to 12 participants; register early to secure your spot.
