Running Assessment
Are you having recurring running injuries?

Would you like to know how to run better but don't know where to start?
I provide in-person running assessments in Vancouver.
This is a thorough evaluation of your running posture and technique as well as your fundamental movement patterns.
First I analyze and video your running technique on a treadmill. I look for any major bilateral differences as well as cadence, foot strike and torso position.
Next I take you through a functional movement screen and other applicable movement tests to determine any underlying muscle imbalances, movement dysfunction, joint restriction and/or soft tissue impingement.
From there I'll prescribe corrective exercises as needed as well as the most relevant aspects you need to work on to improve your running technique.
This is a comprehensive assessment that looks at both static and dynamic posture. I'll be able to determine if you need to work on stability, mobility or both to improve your running function.
You'll be told exactly what you need to do to correct any deficiencies in your movement patterns.
